John B. Henneman III

Jack Henneman, 61, began his career as a corporate lawyer in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins LLP, and was elected to the partnership in 1993.  Between 1994 and 2018, Jack served in senior leadership roles in the medical device and biotechnology industries, including sixteen years (from 1998 to 2014) at Integra LifeSciences in Princeton, New Jersey, where he was both chief administrative officer and chief financial officer.  At Integra, Jack was responsible at various times for the law department, finance, corporate development, human resources, regulatory affairs, quality systems, and IT, as well as several operating businesses.  Since retiring in 2018, Jack has served on the boards of public companies in the healthcare industry, including R1 RCM, Inc., focused on the management of healthcare revenue cycles, Orthofix Medical and Anika Therapeutics, both medical device companies focused on orthopedics, and Aprea Therapeutics, a biotechnology company focused on cancer therapeutics. As a result, Jack has more than thirty years of experience in corporate governance.  

In 2021, Jack launched The History of the Americans Podcast, which is a granular and yet light-hearted telling of the history of the lands now encompassed by the United States.

Jack was born in New York, grew up in Iowa City, and now lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Kery Rowden, a psychotherapist (LCSW).  Jack graduated from Princeton University in 1983 with a degree in Politics, and Michigan Law School in 1986.
