Katy Wickberg
Katy received her bachelor’s degree in international political studies as an Ashbrook Scholar at Ashland University in 2021. At AU, she served in various positions on the student senate and worked to protect speech for students and faculty. After graduating, Katy taught falconry classes at the Broadmoor in her hometown, Colorado Springs. She developed an early appreciation for American exceptionalism and the critical importance of free speech growing up in a military family, which brought her to FIRE to serve as the administrative assistant for the litigation team. In her free time, Katy enjoys paddle boarding, travel, and reading.
