Kurt Jaggers
After a 30 year career at TA Associates, a leading global private equity firm that has raised $65 billion since its founding in 1968, Kurt became a Senior Adviser at the firm. He sponsored 30 investments, mainly in technology companies, and served on the investment committees of more than 30 additional companies. He served on the board of most of his sponsored investments including helping seven of those companies complete IPOs and continuing to serve on those boards post-IPO.
During his time at TA, Kurt held multiple executive positions: He was a member of the Executive Committee, the Portfolio Committee, and the Core Investment Committee, head of the Menlo Park office, and co-head of the North America Technology Group.
Prior to his time at TA, Kurt held engineering, consulting, and management positions at ROLM Corporation, Boston Consulting Group, and Network Equipment Technologies, respectively.
Kurt is a member of the board of directors of the East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring organization, a nonprofit providing academic, athletic, mentorship, and parent empowerment programs to under-resourced students in the community.
Kurt graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, Phi Beta Kappa, in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
