Maia Walker
Maia received her paralegal certification and bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Bay Path College. Previously, she studied economic history at Barnard College and worked in the news office of the University of Massachusetts and as a reporter for the Amherst Bulletin and Longview News-Journal. After graduating, Maia worked as a litigation paralegal for several firms in Philadelphia, including Dechert LLP, Blank Rome LLP, as well as the Federal Community Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Her passion for First Amendment rights brought her to FIRE.
Outside of FIRE, she enjoys reading, trivia nights, and spending time with her family.
