Suleyman Gokyigit
Suleyman has over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, where he has led numerous teams to create innovative business strategies, client-focused solutions, strong systems, and processes to deliver operational maturity.
Prior to joining FIRE, Suleyman spent seven years at an IT consulting and managed services provider. Under his leadership as chief operating officer, the company grew to be a premier provider of IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, with multiple offices across the country.
Suleyman has also worked for BT Group, a multinational telecommunications company and the largest provider of fixed-line, broadband and mobile services in the UK, with operations in 180 countries, where he managed the global access finance, commercial, and products division.
Suleyman graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of the College of Engineering from the University of Toledo, where he received his bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering. He went on to obtain a master’s degree in computer science from the California Institute of Technology . Given his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation, he then proceeded to obtain an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, focusing on business administration and management.
At age 18, Suleyman was recognized as a “computer whiz” in an article published by The Wall Street Journal for his technical prowess. At the time, Suleyman was ranked as the top software developer at InteliData Technologies, a $70 million company with several offices across the United States. In addition to the Wall Street Journal, Suleyman has been interviewed by TIME Magazine and various local and international news stations.
Suleyman is a passionate, purpose-driven leader who believes in building strong teams, and that everyone should have dreams bigger than your circumstances. He always seeks to empower clients, employees, and his network, leveraging each opportunity to create successful outcomes.
